At the first virtual German American Business Awards event on October 16, 2020, Kevin Aiston, Partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, presented the Excellence in Innovation Award to KINEXON Inc. for its cutting-edge software and hardware solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). CEO of KINEXON North America Mehdi Bentanfous accepted the award.

The company develops contact tracing and motion sensor technology, which have been widely adopted from professional sports leagues to manufacturing floors in both the US and Germany. With one of KINEXON’s core values, agility, they reacted quickly to the unprecedented pandemic and launched KINEXON SafeZone – the most innovative digital protection against the spread of COVID-19. "We are honored to be recognized by the GACCs for the innovative work we have done to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace," said Mehdi Bentanfous, CEO of KINEXON. "With so many German-American businesses using innovation as a way to overcome challenges this year, we are humbled to be identified as a leader in this category."
