How to Fix Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Disconnected from Steam Crash
Step 1) Restart your PC
Step 2) Sign out of Steam, exit Steam and then sign in again
Step 3) Update the game
Step 4) Verify the game files
Step 5) Run the game as an administrator
Step 6) Turn off On Demand texture streaming
Step 7) Clear Steam download cache
Step 8) Delete Steam Web Browser Data
Step 9) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program/Windows Security & Firewall
Step 10) Check the Private & Public in Windows Defender Firewall For game exe
Step 11) Perform Power cycle- Shut down your computer, unplug the power cable, press & hold the power button ON PC for few seconds, turn off WIFI router, wait for few seconds and restart your WIFI router and then restart your computer
Step 12) Switch to Ethernet connection instead of WIFI
Step 13) Run these commands
ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Step 14) Perform network reset (Make sure you have the WIFI password)
Step 15) Try turning off "Core Isolation" in Windows
Step 16) Update Windows
Step 17) Uninstall & reinstall Steam
Step 18) Uninstall & reinstall the game
Step 19) Switch to Battle.net
