On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021, the Jerusalem Press Club and the German Embassy in Israel, invite you to a webinar event featuring experts and parliamentarians with unique perspectives on the role of female leadership during the global pandemic.

In the public debate, it has been widely acknowledged that the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on women is severe: Women have been more likely to lose their jobs during the course of the pandemic and subsequently suffer significant financial loss. Repeated lockdowns have produced more house work, more time spent caring for children, and mounting domestic violence. At the same time, women worldwide played a significant role in coping with the crisis, especially in providing medical and methodological expertise. Yet their voices have not always been sufficiently heard in public.

JPC is giving the journalists covering Israel access to Israeli decision makers, analysts, doctors, scientists and experts in various fields including security, the middle east, politics, foreign affairs, covid-19 and more.
