Around 2500 people protested against the potential eviction of the 30 year old autonomous project Köpi on May 15th. The cultural space is one of the last original counterculture squats along the river Spree in central Berlin, which is now one of the most expensive areas in the city. Other similar projects have since been priced out or successfully evicted over the years.

It was announced days later that the eviction will be postponed.
