Tomorrow is the day! The second Demo Day of our accelerator program Hardtech Innovation will take place. And we are sold out!

Next to our panel discussion with Tayla Sheldrake, Iva Jankovic, Sarah Buge, Silvain Toromanoff and Tobias Lechtenfeld we will also have a jury! From 6 pm our 6 startups will pitch their ideas, have to stand up to the jury's questions and get a rating. We are excited to see which team will be voted 1st by our jury Iva Jankovic, Katrin Robeck, Ramtin Ramin and Hans Stam!

With this, we also want to introduce you to startup nr. 5: Red Arrow Tech! The startup is one of the six teams of batch 2 of our startup accelerator program Hardtech Innovation. Their mission: Redefining aerospace. “We think technical progress requires a constant succession of revolution and evolution. A process that must never end.” Ultimately, the team wants to clear the path to an economically feasible use of green fuels.

Finn von Westernhagen, Christian Weisker & Mehmet Killi aim to bring more sustainability into the aircraft and drone industry. The team of three is currently working on a new engine technology, they call it the “Heron Fan”. According to the team, their innovative jet #engine for #drones will be cheaper, lighter, more reliable and more efficient.

“In the program we realized that it is very important to always test your assumptions early and have Plan B and C in case something goes wrong. Nothing is guaranteed until it actually happens.” The market entry is planned for 2027 and with their finished prototype the team can start their first funding round soon!
