My week without a drink. All of the things that happen from day to day have an enormous impact on Alcoholics and addicts. The way we understand and respond to people, places, and things greatly shapes our recovery or sobriety efforts. Through the lessons of Alcoholics Anonymous and rehab, I have learned skills that allow me to adjust to changing situations and act out of ethics, morals, and intention. Racism and political agendas have plagued our Nation and divided it's citizens and widened the racial gap, setting in motion an unpredictable course as a country. (My opinions only)
