A German based organization namely Making More Health (MMH) MMH came forward and extended it’s helping hands through Karl Kuebel Stiftung to 1000 families including migrants, People & families of Children infected by HIV/AIDS, remote Tribes, Transgender and Female Sex Workers in Coimbatore and Tirupur Districts during the Lockdown in India for providing food materials and health & hygiene kits.
Vimuktha Federation is a community based organization promoted by NMCT and trained by KKS in
manufacture of Soaps and in tailoring. The project identified entrepreneur families in the Vimuktha
Federation and they were engaged in the production of Masks and Soaps. This activity has provided
opportunity for enhancing their income at the time of crisis for the self help group members of
Vimuktha Federation and they also involved in distribution of personal protection equipment to the
general public.
NMCT’s management personnel visited the district administrations and got permission to distribute
food materials and health & hygiene kits to the identified beneficiaries in Coimbatore & Tirupur districts.
