An amazing collaboration between two Namibian tertiary institutes, a private game reserve, tourism operators and conservation organizations is featured in this episode. At Etosha Heights Private Game Reserve adjacent to Etosha National Park, Drs Mark Jago and Ortwin Aschenborn from the University of Namibia, Dr Morgan Hauptfleisch of Namibian University of Science and Technology, explain why the students from the two different tertiary education institution are collaborating. They discuss the objectives of the OYRCS Project and how these will be achieved. Watch as the students assist with collaring the first animal of the operation, a springbok.
