Romanian Minister: EU farming subsidies should be tied to working conditions

Here on Euronews we've been shedding light on the migrant and seasonal workers who toil away to bring food to our plates.
The issue took a diplomatic turn when Romania’s Labour Minister drove to Berlin in May to complain about the treatment of her compatriots in Germany's slaughterhouses and asparagus farms.
In an interview with Euronews, Violeta Alexandru suggested the EU could better use its firepower to improve working conditions in subsidised sectors like farming.
