This Roundtable, chaired by Plantlife, explores the role that arable plant communities have within the farmed landscape as habitats and resources for other wildlife, and how they can benefit agricultural production such as integrated pest management. The roundtable also expands on the impacts of problem weeds and how to reduce their impact. Finally, our panelists discuss whether a new cultural heritage is beginning, with cornfield flowers being used as part of sowing programmes and an increase in awareness of cornfield flowers associated with more people holidaying at home.
