Tesla is apparently sending a letter to Semi reservation holders with an update. In a letter to customers, Tesla reports on winter tests with Semi, confirming later production.

Teslamag, a German language Tesla news portal, reports that customers, who have ordered a Semi from Tesla, will still not receive the electric truck this year - but at least in the meantime, they will receive mail, with which they will be informed about the status of Tesla Semi.

The latest of these letters from Tesla's Semi team was made available to a reader by Teslamag.de. It speaks of Tesla Semi's successful tests under extreme winter conditions, but the formulation for the market launch of the Tesla Semi is even more cautious than in the latest quarterly report.

Tesla Semi still lacks both a production facility and batteries.

Semi customers, like the German Teslamag reader who has shared the letter with the portal, must, therefore, be patient before they can take the delivery of the electric Semi truck with the remarkable performance data announced by Tesla - such as a range of up to 500 miles and acceleration to 60 miles in under 5 seconds - at a low cost, according to Tesla - to get.

Remember, that after the unveiling of the Semi, it became known that many well-known companies have already ordered double-digit numbers of Tesla's electric semi-truck.
