In this latest Tesla Model Y cold weather efficiency video, I test the Model Y at a more severe temperature of -11°C (12°F). I did not precondition the battery for this test, and left the Model Y parked outside. Does the Model Y heat pump make a difference at super cold temperatures? Amazingly, the Model Y with heat pump and the Tesla octovalve only lost 5% more efficiency than at -1°C (30°F).
