Panel titled “The climate countermovement in the USA”, which took place on 26 May 2021 in the framework of the THINKClima Conference “Lobbying for (in)action: Climate Emergency, Interest Groups and Denial”. The panel featured the following presentations:

00:20:44 J. Timmons Roberts, Galen Hall & Trevor Culhane (Brown University): “Who's delaying climate action in Massachusetts?”.
00:39:39 Carter Werthman & Robert Brulle (Brown University): “The role of public relations firms in climate change politics”.
Moderator: Dieter Plehwe (Berlin Social Science Center).
The conference was organised by the THINKClima research project (CSO2016-78421-R), the CritiCC research group and the Communication Academic Coordination Unit of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. With the support of the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN), the Media and Climate Change Observatory (MeCCO), the Centre for Studies of Climate Change Denialism (CEFORCED), the Think Tank Network Research Initiative (TTNRI), and the academic journal Ámbitos.
