Urban Data Platforms are approaching the tip of a hype-cycle. Serving as a system to integrate city data and make it available internally as well as externally to third-party service providers, platforms are seen as a tool to break down data silos, make city operations more efficient and collaborative and boost the local ecosystem of developers and entrepreneurs.

This session explores the status quo of Urban Data Platforms and where we are headed in their development and implementation in 2021. Further, this session explores the impact of such platforms on day-to-day city operations today, and how they can become accessible to more cities, regions, and communities.
