All people entering Abu Dhabi are required to get a COVID-19 Test prior to your date of travel to Abu Dhabi. The cost of the swab test at the drive-thru centres is AED 370 & AED 50 for the DPI Laser Test. Appointments must be booked prior to your visit at the drive-thru testing centres & paid online via the SEHA App. The results for the swab test come in via SMS after 24 hours and the results for the DPI laser test come after 5 minutes. DPI laser tests are only performed in Abu Dhabi. It is quite difficult to manage to get a booking these days due to the volume of people going to the testing centres so everyone must plan ahead. Slots for the month of August are already filled. If you are able to travel or is nearby Sharjah or Ajman, there are testing centres there that offer the test FOC. Tests in Sharjah or Ajman should be booked via the Pure Health Portal. Tests are FOC for people of determination, Emaratis, those working for locals, pregnant, children below 12 years of age, elderly aged 60 above, child of an Emarati mother.
