Uri Gincel performance with the Yamaha YC88 Stage Piano.

Jazz pianist Uri Gincel´s style can be described as heavily rooted in tradition but with sensibility and understanding of bringing jazz into the modern age. His playing is dynamic, lyrical and above full of energy and power.

Born in Tel-Aviv, Gincel came to Berlin in 2009 and quickly became an influential part of the Jazz scene, Uri toured the world with many projects, including ""Uri Gincel Trio”, the electronic oriented “Bonaparte” and studied under some major musicians as Arnie Lawrence and Walter Blending Jr.
When not behind a Grand Piano, Uri searches an instrument that gives him authentic feel and the benefits of adding effects and manipulating sounds for his electronic-oriented projects.

With its 88 weighted keys and authentic acoustic grand piano sounds e.g. the CFX, C7 and S700, the Yamaha U1 upright piano and CP80 electric grand, the Yamaha YC88 combines a wide range of realistic sounds with the feel piano players appreciate in a compact studio and stage instrument.
