We crossed into Germany near Stasbourg and headed south skirting the Rhine river until we headed into the Black forest and our free stop at Zell Am Weisenthal.
The village was everything you could expect of the area, timber frammed houses, steep treelined valleys that were basked in the lat Autumn sun.
We stayed 2 days and was a welcome break from the daily traveling we had done in the last week as our plans and nations rules changed in those Covid 19 days.
our next stop after finding a washing machine ! was a mountain top Wild camp near Schwarzbach. There was a short joke walk called the gag weg, which we followed and tried to understand the bad German jokes.
