As managing director of bba and feelgoodbuilding specialist, as an active researcher, and as vice president on the board of REHVA is certainly the right person to share the latest insights on how COVID and indoor air quality are related and which role does ventilation play in that equation?
Advice from Atze:
- Do not economize on ventilation system costs
- First choice : mechanical supply and operable windows
- Try to avoid all-air systemsthat use (central) recirculation
- Make large air volumes, with high ceilings (esp. when spaces are used for singing, partying, sports, etc)
- Include IAQ (CO2) monitoring systems
