After the eviction in the morning of the collective bar "Meuterei" in Kreuzberg and after a whole day of decentralized actions in different parts of Berlin to protest the eviction, a massive solidarity demonstration takes place with a strong presence of riot police, criminalizing and repressing once again the neighborhood protests against gentrification.


As the demonstration passes through Kastanienallee a person makes the Nazi salute and shouts "Heil Hitler!", after which he is rebuked by some demonstrators, some are arrested by the police and the neo-Nazi has to be protected by the police who escort him to leave the place.



The police prevent the demonstrators from entering and leaving the demonstration, blocking adjacent streets and surrounding the march to prevent the free passage of people.


Arriving at the Rosa-Luxemburg square, some demonstrators apparently break through the police siege and the agents begin to corner the demonstrators and attack those who try to leave the police trap. The demonstration is dissolved and people are forced to walk north, avoiding the return to Kreuzberg and Neukölln (to the south).


After breaking up the demonstration before the end, the Berlin police arrested a total of 24 demonstrators. According to a police spokesman 15 policemen were injured. There are no reports on the number of injured demonstrators.
