독일 “아스트라제네카 백신 65세 미만에만 접종 권고”
Germany's vaccine committee has advised that AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine be given to those under 65 only.
According to local media, the committee made the recommendation citing a lack of sufficient data to assess its efficacy in elderly people.
However, it's only a draft recommendation, and the final decision will be made only after the vaccine is cleared for use.
The European Medicines Agency is expected to announce on Friday whether to grant approval for use of AstraZeneca's vaccine in the EU.
