Around 3,000 protesters marched against police brutality and the alleged infiltration of German law enforcement services by far-right and racist groups in Berlin on Saturday.

Demonstrators marched with banners bearing messages such as 'together against repression and right-wing terror' and chanting slogans calling for more safety and security.

Several groups attended the rally, who held banners belonging to 'Grandmas against right-wing' and waved Kurdish flags.

The protest has been called by left-wing activists, with the aim of drawing attention to issues of police brutality and alleged racism and far-right links in German law enforcement.
