Mexico vacation in 2021 during covid is worth it and probably one of the least countries opened up for some countries. Traveling to Playa del Carmen now is unreal! Beautiful beach, parties on the beach, the Mexican cuisine, international travelers (digital nomads and expats) and the Mexican culture are the perfect combination for the perfect get away. Covid procedures here in Mexico are well taken care of, it even seems better organised than in my home country in Germany. Whilst most places in the world are in lockdown, Playa del Carmen and actually Tulum in Mexico are the two places along the Mayan Riviera that have some mask restrictions but it still feels like a holiday.
