Dozens of pro-Jewish demonstrators took to the streets of Berlin on Sunday, to protest against anti-Semitism.

The demo was held under the motto 'Jewish life is no provocation.'

The demonstration featured speakers from Germany's Jewish community, as well as district Mayor of Berlin, Martin Hikel.

According to reports, members of the Berlin Jewish community were allegedly insulted at a pro-Palestinian demonstration, and were told by police to refrain from wearing Jewish symbols at such events to avoid problems.

Sigmount Konigsberg of Berlin's Jewish Community commented on this, saying "Golda Meir said, when a minister proposed a curfew for women when discussing attacks against women, 'it is the men who who are attacking women, and if there is to be a curfew, let the men stay at home, not the women.' And that also works here. Not those who are behind attacks should be restricted, but the ones attacking."
